when you're on the phone, what do you prefer.
an autamated service, where you can just leave your details, or an adviser so you can actually talk to them?
in my view, i prefer autamated, as you don't have to hold and you can get things done quickly.
let's talk about it
I like automated for the same reasons you mentioned, except when I have specific questions on something. Even when they have where you can leave a message for that person to call you back, I'd still rather be able to just speak directly to a person so I can have my questions answered and not have to wait for sometimes days for someone just to get back to me. If it's a same or next-day thing, I don't mind leaving a message, but other than that, I don't like it. But yeah, if all I have to do is go thru menues to get something done, then I'd rather do that.
It deppens what i want to do. If i want to call the bank to see my statement or see if the money i am waiting to go in the account is there i like automated. But if i want to book a train or a flight i like to talk to an actual person. And also i have got a point to make about something. As a person who English is not my first language i hate it when i call to book a train in England and i get operators from India or whatever country they are coming from. I don't have anything against them but i can't understand what they say. I know my English accent is not the best but i think in jobs on the phone they should have Clear speaking people to help customers.
I'd rather speak to a person, but if the automated system's taking a message for them, then I'll just go with that.
I, myself, like automated because the automated system doesn't have a bad attitude, like some people do. Also, I like it because, well,I love to see how these automated systems work. They're so cool!
